Performance matching a stand-alone centrifuge
Like the Sigma 6-16S, the Sigma 6-16HS combines the compact dimensions of a benchtop centrifuge with the performance of a stand-alone centrifuge. It is suitable for use with a variety of swing-out and fixed-angle rotors. The patented one-button control (Spincontrol S) an the motorized lid lock make operation especially easy. A variety of adapters enable the Sigma 6-16HS to accommodate charges from 4 x 800 ml to microtubes. This heated general-purpose centrifuge is ideal for use in petroleum laboratories for ASTM-compliant determination of the water content of crude oils and oil products.
