Separation techniques
Analis has several separation techniques in it’s portfolio.
When separations are performed in “analytical” mode, scientist can “analyze” the concentration and/or composition of samples.
When used in “preparative” mode, separations are used to “prepare” fractions or samples for further use or downstream applications. These separations can be run on lab scale, or on large scale, even as industrial production process.
The choice of the best suited separation technique begins with a good knowledge of the composition of the mixture and the properties of the various components. The principle of a good separation is to exploit the differences in properties between the compound of interest and the rest of the mixture. Whether these differences are based on

- density differences,
