High Sample Throughput configuration for routine applications

PYRO is designed to optimize working conditions and streamline the ashing process for a wide range of materials. It integrates robust hardware, a microwave-transparent muffle, an efficient exhaust system, precise temperature control, and a user-friendly interface into a single platform. Sample crucibles are positioned on a spacious, clean quartz plate, while an internal exhaust system generates airflow. A porous ceramic honeycomb frit within the muffle furnace wall ensures a continuous flow of air over the samples. By combining microwave 'superheating' and induced airflow, PYRO significantly reduces ashing time, accommodating various crucible materials, including metal, porcelain, and quartz.

Sulfated Ashing for safer and faster procedures

Traditional ashing methods, often involving hazardous sulfuric acid and manual fuming for several hours, pose risks to operators. Our PYRO Sulfated Ashing configuration simplifies this process, allowing operators to complete the test in a single step. Sulfuric acid is added to the sample, and the crucibles are placed in the muffle without the need for a preliminary charring step. Acid fumes are continuously collected, condensed, and neutralized by a dedicated water-cooled scrubber module. This efficient method typically completes the procedure in under two hours, eliminating the need for tedious and unsafe handling.

UltraFAST heating muffle for rush samples and high temperature applications

The PYRO with ultrafast muffle reaches a temperature of 800°C in just 5 minutes, starting from room temperature and enables applications up to 1200°C. Temperature control is precise through a contactless infrared sensor. This PYRO configuration, with its unmatched heating speed, is an ideal choice for QC labs seeking quick feedback for production and labs dealing with rush samples. The ultrafast muffle is particularly well-suited for high-temperature applications like sintering or fusion, thanks to its ability to eliminate heating and cooling inertia.
