Incubators
In the laboratory, the incubator is a critical instrument to create the perfect environmental conditions to grow and maintain microbiological cultures or cell cultures.
Incubators are essential for much experimental work in cell biology, microbiology and molecular biology and are used to culture both bacterial and eukaryotic cells.
The incubator maintains an optimal temperature (with or without refrigeration), and can control humidity and other conditions such as the CO2 and Oxygen content of the atmosphere inside like i.e. for cell culture incubation.
In some cases, the incubators can be multi-rooms or time-laps for example when growing embryos in In vitro fertilization laboratories.
