0.8% cell suspensions for the screening and identification of red cell antibodies in human serum and plasma
All cell suspensions are derived from individual donors with blood group O. The Column screen 123 consists of 10 ml vials. The Column panel 16 consists of 3 ml vials. The cells are suspended in a special preservation medium. These cell suspensions meet the requirements of the concerned standards and guidelines. Performance characteristics are mentioned in the release documents, which are supplied with the product upon request. The principle of the test is the column agglutination technique, which is based on antigen/antibody reaction. The reagent red cell are validated for manual use of BioRad/DiaMed (LISS/Coombs AHG; Id-no: 50531) and Ortho (Ortho BioVue AntiHuman Polyspecific; article number 707350) column agglutination techniques. Please read the instructions for use of these manufacturers. For use in other column agglutination techniques, validation by the user is mandatory.
